The Puukko – Original Hackman / Fiskars Folding Knife (1959/60)

This is the legendary original model of the Hackman / Fiskars folding puukko, first produced in 1959–60 at the Sorsakoski factory in Finland. The knife gained international reputation during the Vietnam War, when CIA and special forces units were known to use it in the field.

After Hackman sold the original molds, machinery, and equipment in 1981, production eventually ceased. Today, this iconic design lives on – crafted by hand in Joensuu, Finland by a dedicated local artisan.

The Puukko – alkuperäinen Hackman / Fiskars taittopuukko (1959/60)

Tämä on legendaarinen Hackman / Fiskars -taittopuukon alkuperäismalli, jota valmistettiin ensimmäisen kerran vuosina 1959–60 Sorsakosken tehtaalla. Puukko nousi kansainväliseen maineeseen Vietnamin sodan aikaan, jolloin CIA:n ja erikoisjoukkojen tiedetään käyttäneen sitä kentällä.

Kun Hackman myi alkuperäiset muotit, koneet ja laitteet eteenpäin vuonna 1981, valmistus hiljeni. Nyt tämä ikoninen malli on jälleen saatavilla – käsintehtynä Joensuussa suomalaisen artesaanin toimesta.

Pieni pala historiaa: tässä on puukko, jossa yhdistyvät ajaton suomalainen muotoilu, terävyys ja tarina, joka kulkee Sorsakoskelta Kolille ja Joensuuhun, ja aina Vietnamin taistelukentille saakka.
